Recycling Freccia Rossa sideboard

The Recycling Freccia Rossa sideboard is a fully recycled piece of furniture.
The rust-free frame is obtained from galvanized ventilation pipes, the doors from OSB panels (partition panels used at construction sites), whereas the hardwood strips are cut from packaging pallets. 
The inner shelf, the back panel and the feet are also obtained from OSB panels. All parts are recycled from waste materials. 

Finishing is performed using easily disposable, non-toxic oils and water enamel.

Product history

Some time ago, we were furnishing a new shop in a mall under construction.
The situation was very tense, as dozens of shops and restaurants were going to open at the same time in a few days. The workers were literally stepping on each other’s feet. The result was an orgy of waste and nonsense.
We looked around, imagining thousands of possible different utilizations for the materials that were being thrown away. After finishing our job, we started collecting the things that had tickled our imagination and, in just a few minutes, we were able to fill our van.
